I got inspired by this idea mostly from zankyorecord’s video, also listed below. I really liked the type of content generated for this song in terms of aesthetics and dynamic nature. Although I come from a sound and music background, I deeply understand how well visuals and audio compliment each other, creating more complex forms of narrative content. Visuals helps us to convey stories or ideas the same way audio does. However, when combined, the effect is even more powerful. You can feel music deeper thanks to visuals and vice versa.
Simultaneously, one of the things that I have struggled the most prior to ITP as a musician is the ability, or better said the inability, of creating compelling visual content because of a lack of knowledge. The Nature of Code book has allowed me to learn and understand programming languages like JavaScript as a tool for animating interesting shapes, patterns and reactive visuals. I believe that building a tool that allows evolutionary compelling and reactive graphics would be beneficial for musicians or creative without any visual or programming knowledge when creating their own content for social media.

I would like to come up first for a visualizer for one of my songs. This song I produced a couple of years ago, but never had the chance to come up with something visual for it!. I thought it would be nice to try to create a tool that allows me to have something nice for it. This song is named ‘nieve negra’ and it was the first single that I released.
These images are some of the fractal ideas that could also come to mind.

As the idea progresses, I am also looking to try and connect other concepts to these fractals to make them unique in some way. These other concepts are related to chapter 7, 8 and 9 from the nature of code book. Thinking on building fractal like shapes that also have cellular automata behavior and rulesets. Finally these automated shapes, could evolve it’s genetics over time allowing for, possibly, infinite combinations from previous generations of inherited shapes and behaviors.
